Multi finish

Description

Thistle MultiFinish is a versatile finishing plaster providing a smooth finish on common plaster and plasterboard backgrounds.

Thistle MultiFinish is an excellent choice for finishing most backgrounds. Quick and easy to apply, it has excellent workability and a reliable setting time. This makes it an ideal skim coat plaster for a durable decorative finish to plasterboard walls or ceilings, or for finishing over undercoat plasters.

BOARD FINISH

 Description

Thistle BoardFinish is a finish plaster that can be applied to plasterboard walls and ceilings for a smooth finish.

It creates a durable finish that protects walls and makes decorating with paint or wallpaper easy.

The plaster is designed for use on low to medium suction backgrounds.

BONDING

Description

Thistle BondingCoat is a backing plaster for plasterers working on smooth or low suction backgrounds.

The ideal undercoat on new walls, or for making good old walls before skimming with British Gypsum finishing plasters.

UNIVERSAL ONECOAT Description

Thistle Universal OneCoat is a combined undercoat and finish plaster, allowing the finishing of walls using a single product.

It can save time by offering a single product for most plastering needs, whether just an undercoat, a finish, or both.Simply apply the plaster by hand or spray machine to almost any internal surface, including brick, blockwork, plasterboard and concrete. It can also be used for filling larger holes and chasing in.

 

Thistle HardWall

Description

 

Thistle HardWall is a backing plaster for medium to high suction backgrounds.

Apply it by hand or by spray machine for extra speed and convenience.

Thistle HardWall is ideal for most medium to high suction backgrounds, including masonry such as bricks and aircrete blocks.

Thistle DriCoat

Description

Thistle DriCoat is a cement based undercoat plaster for replastering walls following damp proof course treatment.

It's the only British Gypsum plaster recommended for replastering walls following damp proof course treatment. The source of penetrating or rising damp must be identified and eliminated. See the product data sheet for more details on the background preparation. Always finish with Thistle BoardFinish.

 

ThistlePro Magnetic

Description

 

ThistlePro Magnetic is a finishing plaster that creates surfaces that attracts magnets.

The finishing plaster's magnetic attraction means you can hang paintings and other items without any fixings, and then move them when you want without leaving any damage. Simply decorate the plaster as normal, or add whiteboard or chalkboard paint to create an interactive wall for schools, offices or children's bedrooms. Magnetic plaster is also a great choice for feature walls in living spaces.

ThistlePro PureFinish

ThistlePro PureFinish is a finish plaster which contains ACTIVair technology. ACTIVAir makes indoor air healthier by eliminating up to 70% of formaldehyde present in indoor air.

Our ACTIVair® technology absorbs formaldehyde released by things like carpets, paints and pets, and turns it into harmless compounds so it can't be released back into the room.

Microcement is a versatile, decorative coating made from cement, water-based resins, and pigments. It is designed for both functional and aesthetic applications, providing a seamless finish that can be used on various surfaces.

Microcement can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including concrete, tiles, wood, drywall, cement boards, and even existing coatings like paint. Proper surface preparation and the right primer are essential for successful application.

K.REND BASECOAT INFO

K.REND HP12

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HP12 Base Coat is used as a preparation coat for K Rend top coat finishes. It can be hand or machine applied and is ideal as stipple coat or for dense backgrounds. With outstanding adhesion and water resistance HP12 Base Coat also makes an excellent scud coat. HP12 is a highly versatile product using 'High polymer' technology for an enhanced performance on difficult substrates such as render carrier boards, dense block, unpainted render and brickwork (used in conjunction with K Rend R7 Primer). Incorporation of Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh is required at stress points such as door and window reveals. HP12 Base Coat can be used in conjunction with all K Rend finishes including Scraped Texture, Thin Coat, Dash, Roughcast and Brick Rend.

SILICONE RENDER INFO

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Silicone TC 15 is a through coloured ready to use organic resin render which is suitable for hand or machine spray application. Silicone TC provides a low maintenance textured finish and is available in different textures (TC 05, TC 10, TC 15 and TC 30. Prior to application the substrate should be primed using Primer TC. Silicone TC provides excellent adhesion and application properties and, following appropriate preparation, can be applied to a wide variety of substrates. Silicone TC is a cement-free render with greater flexibility. Silicone TC incorporates the benefits of silicone technology to provide a water repellent surface with excellent protection. It also contains a biocide to help prevent infection from moulds, yeasts and algae and has a low susceptibility to soiling and contamination.

K.REND K MONO

K Mono is a one coat monocouche coloured render designed for use with spray machines. It acts as a one cost, one pass finish over most moderate to low strength block work, providing a labour-saving, cost-effective solution that is available in 20 standard colours. Optimised for spray application, K Mono offers exceptional workability and boasts industry-leading setting times making it a cost efficient solution for large volume sites due to reduced application times. K Mono provides a scraped texture or roughcast finish with excellent durability credentials.
